In FIZ, verify your identity and enter the IBAN of the account where you want to receive the money.
Select products or services and the customer pays. FIZ then issues a fatura‑recibo: invoice and receipt in one document. You can also enter just the amount and invoice on the same day.
The money reaches your account automatically, daily, weekly or monthly, as you choose. The balance and history are shown in FIZ.

On your payout schedule
To take contactless payments, you need a compatible iPhone or Android with the FIZ app: with Tap to Pay, the phone works as a card terminal, with no equipment to buy. For QR codes or links, FIZ on your phone or computer is enough: the customer pays on their own phone. In both cases, first turn on payments in FIZ.
iPhoneiPhone XS or later, with an up-to-date version of iOS. Beta versions are not supported. Where to look on your iPhone: Settings → General → About.
AndroidA Tap to Pay-compatible model with NFC, Android 13 or later, Google Play and a security update from the past 12 months. The operating system must be the factory one, with no modifications.
Setting names may vary by phone.
The QR code also works on phones without NFC: the customer scans it and pays on their own phone.
Yes, for contactless payments: connect your smartphone to the internet, turn on location and allow FIZ to access it. Location helps protect payments against fraud. For QR or link payments, you do not need location: internet on your phone or computer and on the customer’s phone is enough.
It depends on your plan, the payment method and the country of the bank that issued the card. The fee is deducted from each payment and is not part of the subscription.

Yes. Cards from banks in Portugal and other European Economic Area (EEA) countries use the fee table. For cards from banks outside the EEA, the contactless fee is the same on every plan and is shown below the table. QR codes and payment links accept only cards from EEA banks.
See the fee tableYes. Open the payment in FIZ, enter the amount to refund (full or partial) and confirm. The money goes back to the customer’s card, and the fee is refunded to you in the same proportion.
For a full refund of a QR or link payment with an automatic fatura‑recibo, FIZ issues the nota de crédito (credit note). In other cases, issue a credit note in FIZ or, for a full refund within the invoice’s quarter, cancel the invoice.
If you select the products or services before taking payment, FIZ issues the fatura‑recibo right after payment. If you only charge the amount, issue a fatura‑recibo in FIZ on the same day with what you sold. If the sale already has an invoice, charge from that invoice: FIZ records the payment and issues the recibo.
In FIZ, each bank payout shows the payments it includes, the fees and refunds already deducted, and the invoice for each sale invoiced in FIZ. The fee is a business expense: the customer’s invoice keeps the full amount paid.
